Airport Personnel Terminal Service for Logistics Platoon F 21 Luleå

Are you responsible, proactive, and enjoy varied tasks? Do you want to contribute to the air operational effect at Sweden's northernmost air wing? If so, we have a place for you! The Logistics Platoon is now seeking two employees for the flight terminal troop at F 21.

About the Unit

The terminal troop is part of the Logistics Platoon, which in turn belongs to the Logistics Command Company at Norrbotten Air Wing F 21. The company’s main task is to support the unit with logistics, medical care, and command capabilities at both F 21 and the unit's side bases. The terminal troop operates within the logistics function, primarily focusing on terminal services, meaning loading and unloading of goods and equipment from aircraft.

Main Responsibilities

As an airport personnel member within terminal services, your main tasks will be to unload, load, and secure goods and equipment on military air transports. You will operate a range of different vehicles in your work, and in this role, you are also expected to support other parts of the Logistics Platoon's tasks, for example, within the transport function as a driver of heavy vehicles. Participating in the platoon's training and exercise activities is part of the tasks you are expected to perform in this role.

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications

  • Good ability to express yourself in spoken and written Swedish and English
  • Driver's license category B
  • Loader according to TYA/BYN or military driver's license

Personal Characteristics

As a person, you are characterized by great precision, teamwork skills, responsibility, and the ability to work independently. To succeed in this role, you need to have good learning ability due to intensive training and exercises. To thrive in this role, you should enjoy working in a changing environment that may partly be conducted in field conditions.

Terminal staff should be able to operate a large number of different special vehicles/machines to accomplish their tasks, where a genuine interest in vehicles is an advantage for the position.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

DESIRABLE

  • Experience in terminal services within aviation
  • C or CE driver's license
  • Completed military service/basic military training or GU-F
  • Previous employment within the Armed Forces
  • Military driver's licenses
